On a bright October morning I packed my cameras and cases and drove with the sunrise to my gorgeous friend Heike’s home to capture the moments that made up her day of love and joined futures with her husband Ivar. Heike is the talent behind Fleur le Cordeur and I knew her beautiful wedding would have a heart of flowers but I wasn’t prepared for the breath-taking floral art that flowed over and through the ceremony and festivities… Something truly amazing… It was a day that brought together and showcased the incredible work of so many brilliant service providers that makes me so proud to be working in South Africa at this perfect time. Please take a moment to go and visit each link at the bottom of the post to see more about each and every one.
Heike and Ivar held their vows and reception at The Old Tannery outside Wellington and it was a venue to dream about! Textures, spaces and light to make any photographer (or any human’s!) heart sing! Their wedding and celebration was filled with so much love and so many happy tears – take a minute to look through the moments they shared with their children, families and loved ones…
Thank you to my lovely second shooter Christine le Roux Photography and assistant Ange Gray
