Food from the Karoo, also known as FFTK, is the brain child of Tania Harrison, a Karoo plaas-meisjie who likes to take time out from her hectic career as director of the Cape Town based design agency Code, to make the most of her family farm in the Karoo. She sells the most amazing meat products and farm specialities from Karoo lamb and free-range pork to the world’s best buttermilk rusks and straight-from-the-farm-kitchen ‘Farmalade’. Scrumptious, and you can take my word for it! And there is so much more… go and take a good look around.

I have been missing my food photography with so much happening on the wedding front, and this has been such an awesome project to get back into the kitchen with a camera!!! I hope you enjoy the FFTK pics!

  1. Good enough to eat! Off to break our diet with a good piece of boerewors – you’ve started something now. The shots are stunning! We love the reflections on the olives and the regimented boerewors. Also think the Parma ham pic is especially good Duo17 – lovely transparent look and great colours. Point of focus excellent! Really look forward to seeing more shots of food.
