Tom, Tom the Farmer’s son stole our hearts and away did run! This little chap is quite possibly the visual definition of cute! He lives with his two dogs and two parents on a beautiful farm in the heart of the Overberg and is the 9th generation to do so! He loves nothing more than tractors (except maybe his Mom!) and lives in a constant state of motion :-D  What a piece of history he is living. The house dates back to 1777 and the farm itself is even older. I count myself very lucky to tell a small piece of this story with these photos. Enjoy!

You know when you find a gem –  it doesn’t happen very often and it doesn’t happen very often right on your doorstep! Well I couldn’t be luckier that Just Pure is slap bang in the middle of Hermanus and not off tucked snugly in the middle of Cape Town like the rest of the trendy eateries/ boutiques/ body care emporiums. It’s the place you always want to go for lunch and end up snuffling for hours through their amazing and ever changing range of books, home wares, lotions and potions, babywear and knick knacks. The coffee is organic and freshly ground, the food is totally delicious and oh-so-generously portioned, in fact this could be the ideal place for a long and leisurely lunch with the girl-friends (a big hint to anyone coming through for the Whale Festival!).

So lucky me got luckier when Tamsin Koen (the co-owner and visual genius behind it all) asked me to take some photos for their new website! These are just a few of them – I think my camera may have been smoking by the time I left – soooo much to photograph! Enjoy!
