Oh Autumn has made an appearance now and there’s no denying that summer is well and truly over. Oh, you should have seen hubby’s happy face when I told him we were photographing chocolate brownies! Morning all! Did you see the absolutely scrumptious recipe by the oh-so-talented Food Fox on the Pretty Blog last week? That nutti-crust pie casing is the business!!! (For anyone not from RSA these are caramel oaty biscuits :-) ) This is the first in a new weekly recipe series on the Pretty Blog, so keep an eye out for more deliciousness.

I know this is an old ‘un, but for the sake of mixing it up on the new blog I thought I would have a bit of a nostalgic post today. These are photos I took last year for the totally awesome ‘Gordon Manuel @ the Venue’. Gordon and Emma are based at the wine farm South Hill in the Elgin Valley and their delicious, lick-your-plate-clean food will blow you away! Guys out there – Gordon has a way with meat second to none - - don’t say I didn’t tell you!
