What a beautiful end to a beautiful tale of love and laughter(!) That is just Simoné and Anwar all over! Since their Lovebirds engagement shoot I’ve been looking forward to their fun-filled wedding day and when I heard Pancakes was set to walk down the aisle as the ring-bearer I knew this was going to be a Simoné classic! The whole day was put together with the usual expert precision and incredible attention to detail of Nadia Strauss from 4 Every Event (I like to think of her as one of the Western Cape’s doyennes of the wedding industry ). Kristi, AJ and I had so many ideas for what to do for their Lovebirds engagement shoot, but somehow there was always a reason why this or that wasn’t going to work out. When Kristi finally suggested a shoot around Cape Town at their favourite places it was just an immediate good fit and I am so glad this was how fate worked in our favour! This couple is fun with a capital F-U-N!!! We met at Surfer’s Corner in Muizenberg, Cape Town for some shots near the beach and at the deliciously lovely bakery, Knead. Simoné just kept me laughing the whole time – between her and handsome-hubby-to-be Anwar (and their totally photogenic pooch, Pancakes) my camera didn’t get put down for two minutes! You can see this amazing relationship between them – it’s a gorgeous thing. I can’t wait for their wedding in February… Enjoy the pics!
