Its so hard to describe those feelings that you get after a shoot is over. Elated, exhausted, nervous and ‘x’(whatever word best describes a race horse waiting behind the gates before the race starts). Elated because you think you got some awesome shots! Exhausted because, well whatever any doubters may think, photography is hard work! Nervous because did you really get some awesome shots??? and ‘x’ because nothing must stand in the way of you getting home and sorting through the days work… This little rhythm happens to me every time :-) What makes this emotional rollercoaster so worth it is meeting and photographing amazing people like Kristi and AJ, and giving them something unique to take away from it all. A little bit of how you see them, a little bit of how they see each other and a little bit of them together that’s all brand new :-) It’s a great great feeling!

Kristi and AJ – I don’t think I could be more delighted with these photos – I hope you love them too and I can’t wait for the wedding!!

The lovely people from Haas were so kind to let us photograph in their incredible coffee shop – go check their awesome stuff out! (This place may be the one reason I wish I lived in town!!!)

Oh, I love my job! This was the happy, laid back and loved up wedding of two awesome people. Heather and Adrian live in London and organised the whole thing from afar with the help of the super-talented girls from Elgin Weddings and the ever-awesome team at Rockhaven Farm. The details and decor were so well thought out and the brides dress was one of the most stunning I have seen (so glad we didn’t have time to do a  ‘Trash a Dress’ shoot – I don’t think I could have brought myself to do it :-) ). I hope you enjoy the photos and, as always, feel free to comment…

From a bride who hates photographs I don’t think you get much more photogenic than this! Heather and Adrian were married at Rockhaven Farm in Elgin on Saturday and made my day so easy by being awesome, relaxed, happy and loved-up! More coming soon…
