Lindsey and Lloyd braved threatening rain clouds and Cape autumn gusts on their wedding day at gorgeous Boschendal. But not for a single second did it take the radiant smiles from their faces as they celebrated their marriage and partied the night away surrounded by their nearest and dearest! I really think they willed the rain to stay away until everyone moved in doors – what exceptional timing!! I always find it amazing how the world is so connected and at the end of the day so very small! Even though Jennifer and I had never met before we found out that she works with a school friend of mine in the UK and our dads went to the same school together around a similar sort of time. It all added a happy layer of familiarity to meeting Jen, someone who it’s impossible not to adore the minute you meet them!
What a wonderful wedding they had and it was no mean feat to have pulled the whole day off so well as Beau is American and they live in London so loads of the guests flew in from all over the world! Elizabeth and Meagan from Bon Ton Events were just wonderful to work with and I predict the new Olive Press at Boschendal is going to become a very busy venue! Enjoy the photos! Nelita and Alex have a lucky angel watching over them from above! We scrutinised the weather forecast for their beautiful Franschhoek wedding the whole week before and what started out on the Monday as predicted torrential rain lessened each day and by the Saturday was a light drizzle that stopped twenty minutes before the ceremony! Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is good timing! No actually, I think legendary timing!

It could not have been a more perfect Franschhoek day for Rose and Jeremy’s wonderful wedding! Wellll, perhaps it could have been a few degrees cooler (note groom in a three piece suit in 37oC!!) but I don’t think anything could dampen the amazingly happy spirit of this day! As Rose’s dad is from South Africa they flew out from the UK with their dearest family and friends to tie the happy knot at Vrede en Lust wine estate. I’m so thrilled to have been a part of it all and I know they took home so many phenomenal memories! Enjoy the photos…
