Gorgeous and pixie-petite Kim married her long time love Mike on a beautiful December’s day at Rockhaven. Kim is the most lovely and gentle-hearted girl, and her and Mike make an amazing team. It’s a special thing to see people so clearly suited for each other!! Rockhaven never disappoints in loveliness and their day brought some beautiful light for our couple shoot! I’m sooooo happy to share this gorgeous wedding!!! Pips and Stu felt like immediate friends the minute I met them :-D I know and adore her gorgeous sister Jess through other mutual friends and times we’ve worked together in the wedding industry, so all in all this feels almost like something of a family wedding for me! Pippa was a total vision in THE most gorgeous dress and the day was styled and run beautifully at lovely Rockhaven! Well done to Theresa from Creation Events , the Rockhaven team and the talented duo at Ecozest for the truly magnificent and meticulous flowers and decor. So basically I’ve spent the last half an hour agonising over which sneak peek to share – these two lovebirds, plus so much Oak Valley loveliness means one happy camera and a lot of photos!! I just loved this wedding from beginning to end! I absolutely adore Beloftebos with it’s rolling vistas, a ceremony area tucked into an ancient tree grove, glowing Overberg sunsets and the wonderful people there who manage to keep the farm charm underpinned with exceptional service, wonderful food and a real smiling can-do attitude! Such a happy and magical spot to celebrate your big day. Deani and Hano made the great trek down from Jozi and managed to pick a rain free May day for their amazing wedding!! Deani looked like a perfect Snow White bride with her exquisite red lips and ebony hair, and Hano may have had a little of that lipstick on his own lips by the end of the day ;-) I love love love the soft light we got for their couple shoot… I hope you enjoy looking through the photos as much as I loved being there to document their day :-) Assisted by the lovely Claire Harries Photography.

What a view, what a place, what a couple and what a day!! This is a veeery long post this morning, but I just couldn’t cut it down more :-) Ellie and Grant were married at The Oaks just outside of gorgeous Greyton. This is now one of my top three favourite venues! An original Cape Dutch farmstead that has been lovingly restored, tucked away in a heavenly and tranquil little valley at the foot of the Zonderend Mountains in the Overberg – a more perfect spot to get married you’d be hard pressed to find. Ellie and Grant, you two have been amazing and utterly delightful from the beginning!!
