Gorgeous and pixie-petite Kim married her long time love Mike on a beautiful December’s day at Rockhaven. Kim is the most lovely and gentle-hearted girl, and her and Mike make an amazing team. It’s a special thing to see people so clearly suited for each other!! Rockhaven never disappoints in loveliness and their day brought some beautiful light for our couple shoot! I’m sooooo happy to share this gorgeous wedding!!! Pips and Stu felt like immediate friends the minute I met them :-D I know and adore her gorgeous sister Jess through other mutual friends and times we’ve worked together in the wedding industry, so all in all this feels almost like something of a family wedding for me! Pippa was a total vision in THE most gorgeous dress and the day was styled and run beautifully at lovely Rockhaven! Well done to Theresa from Creation Events , the Rockhaven team and the talented duo at Ecozest for the truly magnificent and meticulous flowers and decor. René and Dirk’s wedding was a truly spectacular affair – full of the most beautiful details, flowers, lace, gilt, some good luck drizzle and of course the love these two have for each other. They transformed Rockhaven Farm with the help of the super talented Valery from Agape Wedding and Event Design into a stunningly unique space to share their day with friends and loved ones. So it was a gentle spring day with a salt-tanged breeze and gulls cawing overhead. Rene and Dirk wanted to shoot around the gorgeous Waterfront in Cape Town as that’s where he proposed and started this wonderful story off! There was a helicopter, a candlelit dinner and a diamond ring involved – sjo, that’s one romantic hubby-to-be!!!
Beautiful September light mixed with greys, blues and a touch of coral red made for sublimely happy and calm photographs. Enjoy!

We spent such a lovely day shooting some inspiration images for the lovely Fennec from Fox and Co! The day started with the most amazing mist and we all hustled to make sure that we got some shots in it before the mid-morning sun chased it all away! Wonderful hair from Marite Crous, Make-up from Sarah Chasteau Hoberman, Decor from Okasie, My Pretty Vintage and A Vintage Affair, Dress from Warrick Gautier of Jenni Button and lovely Rockhaven as the venue. March is such a lovely time of year to photograph weddings – the wind has died down, the sun is starting to lower into it’s autumn arc and there’s so often a sweet softness to the light. And it was exactly so on Kerry and Nick’s lovely wedding day at gorgeous Rockhaven here in Elgin. On the last evening of summer we set out to photograph Pippa and Stuart’s Lovebirds engagement shoot – the beginning of their beautiful wedding photo story… The evening was indescribably glorious and we walked through the hills of Paul Cluver Wine Estate to capture some photos of the two of them together while they were down here in the Cape.
