Autumn is my favourite time of year to shoot weddings and Lesley and Darren’s beautiful wedding day was right at the end of this calm and low-lit beauty of a season! The soft sun was out and they said their I Do’s overlooking the magnificent Devon valley at Landtscap. It was such a perfect day with SO many laughs and moments to remember!! These gorgeous twin angels were just a few precious days old for our Little Peanut shoot – I had such a hard time putting them down and picking up my camera! Oh the sweet softness and gentle weight of a babe sleeping in your arms… Well done Kate and Riaan – you’ve made two little miracles!

Two lovelier and more perfectly suited souls would be hard to find! They gathered their nearest and dearest to celebrate their mid Autumn wedding at the stunning venue The One, Heaven & Earth up in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley – what a magic spot! The day was cool and sunny, the wind was quiet and calm and we watched the sun go down on top of the mountain which felt like the top of the world. So many memories to cherish…

Gorgeous munchkin Katie was not up for all my camera business – she just wanted to play with chickens and run full tilt in the opposite direction! Sounds like more fun anyway ;-) But little did she know how cute her antics were while she was trying to ignore us!

These two are legends for being such fun, so relaxed and having such a major party with their nearest and dearest!! They celebrated their beautiful autumn wedding at gorgeous Molenvliet and organised everything remotely from Dubai through the amazing Valery from Agape Wedding and Event Design! All their friends and family came out from the UK to share in their breathtaking celebration – and what a day it was!!

My last wedding at Rockhaven, my absolute favourite venue! What a one to go out on!! Georgie and Ross are THE most lovely couple and we had such a great day with magic light to show off their beautiful wedding. Some weddings are a happy nexus where a lot of magic comes together and I feel like this beautiful, relaxed and fun day with Kristy and Alex was one of those. It was a joy to spend time with them from the very beginning! The One – Heaven and Earth here in Hermanus’ Hemel-en-Aarde valley was wonderful to shoot and we found some incredible spots overlooking Shaw’s Pass that just took my breath away. On a sizzling Wellington Saturday this wonderful, hilarious, loved-up couple said their I Do’s in front of a crowd of adoring friends and family (plus a few horses)! It was a day of such laughs and joie de vie! I’m not sure any photos can quite sum up the incredible vibe of this day but I hope these go a little way to telling a part of the love-filled story that I witnessed!
